Vilnius JJAZZ Ensemble is a jazz orchestra led by a Lithuanian composer Jievaras Jasinskis. The ensemble released their debut album ‘’American Stories’’ in 2022, with an LP set to be released in March 2023. Original compositions were written by Jievaras Jasinskis and Liutauras Janušaitis. In January 2023, the ensemble presented the saxophone group’s album ‘’Saxcess’’, orchestra’s third album ‘’Deadly dance’’ will be released in spring of 2023.
In 2022, Vilnius JJAZZ Ensemble became director’s D. Ulvydas movie-concert performers and musicians in ‘’Vilniaus Pokeris’’ movie based on R. Gavelis book. The ensemble became the flag-bearers of Vilnius’ 700th birthday and together with Vilnius City Municipality gave the city of Vilnius an unforgettable live music performance.

Vilnius JJAZZ Ensemble aims to ensure that high-quality, professionally performed and written Lithuanian jazz can represent Baltic music on competitive international stages. Thus ensuring the well-being of Lithuanian creators and musicians by giving young talents the opportunity to collaborate with stage veterans all the while enabling the sharing of knowledge in the jazz market.
